From Campania towards the East.
The region's technology supply chains meet the East: relationships that become business, and value that stays in the territory.
A territory opening up to international markets
For three days Campania becomes a living platform of international relationships. The regional production and innovation system welcomes buyers, investors, funds, chambers of commerce, development agencies, institutional bodies and innovation hubs selected from the Near and Far East: a meeting where expertise becomes relationship, and relationship becomes market and investment.
Artificial intelligence and digital, advanced manufacturing, energy, space and the creative industries: the high-technology supply chains shaping the region's future meet the great markets of the East, from China to the United Arab Emirates.
Where the buyers come from
Matching starts before the event, with a priority focus on China and the United Arab Emirates, open to other markets strategic for the region's supply chains.
China
China is the world's second largest economy and its leading manufacturing country, with one of the largest domestic markets in the world and trade with Italy that exceeded 74 billion euros in 2025 (source: ISTAT). The 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) and the concept of "new quality productive forces" push the economy towards high-technology development: artificial intelligence (with the "AI+" plan), robotics, new materials, semiconductors, electric mobility and renewable energy (source: China's 15th Five-Year Plan, 2026).
For Campania-based companies China is above all a large outlet market and a qualified audience of buyers, importers, distributors, companies and industrial clients with real sourcing needs: the size of the demand opens the way to new customers, trade agreements and export channels for the region's products and solutions.
United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates are among the most dynamic and open economies of the Gulf, with an advanced diversification: in 2025 non-oil activities exceeded 77% of GDP (source: Il Sole 24 Ore, 2025). The "Operation 300bn" strategy aims to double the weight of industry and manufacturing on GDP by 2031, the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 plans over 160 billion dollars of investment in the energy transition, and the country was the first in the world to create a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence.
For Campania-based companies the UAE are a high-spending market and a qualified audience of buyers, importers, distributors, companies and investors with real sourcing and partnership needs. The Emirates are also a gateway to the other Gulf economies, from Saudi Arabia to Qatar, and to North African markets. Italy, among the leading foreign investors in the country, maintains growing economic relations there (source: ICE-Agenzia).
